Capcom has recently confirmed that there will be a panel for Gyakuten Saiban, known in America as Ace Attorney, at Tokyo Game Show 2018. The panel will be held on September 22, and Capcom is describing it as “unmissable” for series fans.
For now, Capcom is keeping mostly quiet about the panel’s contents. However, it looks like some huge news is on its way, especially since Ace Attorney series producer Motohide Eshiro and game designer Shinsuke Kodama are both confirmed to be in attendance. The last game in the main series was Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice, which launched back in 2016.
Capcom had already promised that Ace Attorney would migrate over to Nintendo’s Switch. This statement was made earlier this year. However, since that proclamation, it’s been radio silence from Capcom. That is, until now.
Hopefully there will be some interesting news during the show. The panel, which is slotted in 40 minutes, will take place on September 22 at the following times:
- 12 AM PT
- 3 AM ET
- 8 AM in the UK
- 9 AM in Europe
