State of Decay 2 Reveal New Details About Upcoming Daybreak Pack DLC

Undead Labs has revealed the next piece of State of Decay 2 DLC, called Daybreak, will come to Xbox One and Windows 10 PC on September 12. Revealed at Gamescom, The Daybreak Pack is new add-on content that will add an all-new siege defense game mode with new missions, rewards, and zombie carnage. You'll play as a new character, a Red Talon soldier, and defend an outpost against seven waves of increasingly tough zombies. 

There will also be new enemies, notably the Blood Plague Juggernaut, tougher than the regular Juggernaut, but is infected with the Blood Plague. To deal with these tough enemies, players will have access to some high-end CLEO weapons, which includes eight new ranged weapons, six melee weapons, and six deployable explosives. Also if you need help defending against the zombie waves, you can play Daybreak co-op with up to three other players. You will also be able to earn more rewards by surviving more waves, and these rewards can be used in future games of this mode. 

The DayBreak pack will cost you $9.99 if you own the standard edition of the game, and will be free if you bought the Ultimate Edition. Meanwhile, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive a 10% discount if they choose to purchase the DLC as wellThe content drop is coming on Sept. 12. “State of Decay 2” is currently available on Xbox One and PC.
